Aderra

A self-governing mixed-species colony and the setting’s first central conflict.

Armistice Year

Shared reference dating used by this bible; AY0 is the Sable Armistice. No Earth AD conversion is assigned.

Crownless Trial

The industrial and safety demonstration whose crisis precedes the breach at Sable.

Matter Garden

The ancient Ortheline continuous-growth complex beneath inhabited Aderra.

Continuous growth

Manufacturing complex metal–ceramic structures in controlled mineral baths. It rearranges compatible feedstock rather than creating elements.

Pressure-grown architecture

The more precise descriptive name for the Garden’s manufacturing approach.

Namar

The ruined Ortheline home system, not a current playable state or Nacre capital.

Ortheline

The extinct creators of the Nacre; a historical civilization with ordinary people, internal differences and coercive governing institutions.

Sable Armistice

The agreement that ended the Twelve-Year War and protected Aderra’s neutrality for nineteen years.

Twelve-Year War

The modern interstate war from AY−12 through AY0. It is distinct from the much older Nacre revolution.

Vhur

The Vharuun homeworld.

Ilyra

The Ilyr homeworld.

Nine Harbors

Rotating Nacre host communities whose assembly conducts bounded shared affairs without speaking for every artificial person.

Alloy

The current game’s shared public resource label; the narrative does not add asymmetric faction economies by implication.

Control Requisition

Capture of vessel control systems. Organic occupants remain people and are never converted into machines.
