Privacy Policy

Space Armada is developed by NTR Studio, a studio of New Technology Research LLC. This notice describes the Steam game, Playtest and our support website. Updated October 6, 2026.

On your device

The game keeps settings, saved matches, custom content and report receipts on your device. It records limited crash categories locally so you can choose to report a failed session. It does not automatically send crash reports to NTR Studio.

Steam features

Steam handles your Steam account, ownership, friends, lobbies, achievements, Cloud saves and Workshop subscriptions. Multiplayer exchanges your Steam identity and game state with other participants. If you enable voice chat, your microphone audio is sent to the other players; NTR Studio does not record that audio.

Content you publish to Steam Workshop is shared according to the visibility you choose and Steam's rules. Do not publish private information in a map, campaign, title or description. Valve describes its own handling of account and platform data in the Steam Privacy Policy.

Reports you choose to send

When you send a report, we receive your description and the diagnostic details shown in the report form. These can include the game build, operating system, graphics device, resolution, controls, performance and error categories. Screenshots and match snapshots are optional. They may contain custom names or other information visible in your game.

Reports are kept in NTR Studio's private support system and may be copied to our private GitHub issue tracker. The development team uses them to investigate problems and test fixes. We may use AI development assistants, including OpenAI Codex, to analyze the reports and selected attachments for that purpose. Reports are not published as community posts.

Do not include passwords, API keys, private conversations or sensitive personal information. Automatic filtering reduces accidental disclosure but cannot remove every private detail. Review your description and selected attachments before sending.

A queued report stays on your device and retries when the game or support page is open and online. Your private receipt lets that device check the report's status. Removing a local receipt does not delete a report that has already reached us.

Connections and optional services

Our website and support service receive connection information needed to serve requests and prevent abuse, including an IP address. The support rate limiter uses a temporary hashed address. Hosting and security logs may also contain connection information.

ChatGPT-powered campaign and map generation is unavailable in the beta while OpenAI approval is pending. Live ElevenLabs narration generation is also disabled in the Steam beta while its provider-account and Steam billing arrangements are reviewed. Included voice recordings play locally without sending their text to either provider.

Retention and requests

We retain support reports while they are needed to investigate issues, maintain fixes and handle follow-up requests. We review resolved reports for removal when they are no longer needed. Private issue-tracker copies and backups may be retained separately.

For privacy questions or a request to access or delete a report, use the private support form and include your report number. We may need more information to verify the request. Do not post your private receipt token publicly. Requests about a Steam account, Steam Cloud data or Workshop account data should also be directed to Valve.
