NTR STUDIO · STEAM PLAYTEST
NTR Studio wants your honest feedback, right from the start. Tell us what you enjoy, what frustrates you and what you wish the game did better. You do not have to agree with us. We want to make games you want to play, and we will explain what we change and why.
Our focus is fun space strategy: no political or ideological agenda, no demand that you like our design choices, and no pressure to make a game your second job. Play when you have time. Pause and save single-player games, then return when it suits you. Live multiplayer matches still need everyone present.

Tell us what you thinkTake command of a fleet in an original science-fiction universe. Secure resources, build stations, research new technology and decide where your ships can make the difference. Shield impacts, beam exchanges and torpedo volleys make every engagement readable, while synchronized fleet warp lets you move your forces across the battlefield together.
Command the Earth Alliance, Vharuun, Ilyr or Nacre, each with its own ships, stations and visual language.
Protect your economy, choose formations and targets, repair valuable ships, capture enemy hulls and coordinate fleet warp.
Start with the Academy, follow a campaign or configure a skirmish against AI opponents. Single-player saving lets you continue later.
Keyboard and mouse, Xbox-style controllers and Steam Deck controls have their own settings and tutorial guidance.
Use the map editor and campaign tools to build and test custom content. Steam Workshop integration is part of the beta test scope.
NTR Studio intends to let you describe a campaign or map in natural language and develop it with your ChatGPT plan. This capability is not available in the beta. Enabling it requires OpenAI to approve Space Armada for its commercial Sign in with ChatGPT program and ChatGPT plan usage. Approval and timing are not guaranteed. The game, included campaigns and manual editing do not require ChatGPT.
Optional ElevenLabs narration generation is also unavailable in the Steam beta while the provider-account and Steam billing arrangements are reviewed. The planned integration uses a separate ElevenLabs account; a ChatGPT subscription does not currently provide ElevenLabs credits. Included voice recordings work without either account.
Read OpenAI’s explanation of the programThe Playtest is free. Playtest access does not include ownership of the eventual full game.
We plan to begin with a small invited group, then admit public applicants in limited waves. Requesting access is not a guarantee of admission. There is no purchase required and no advantage for positive feedback.
The first public wave is planned for two weeks after its announced start. We will publish exact dates before admitting players, and announce any extension or closure. Participants can play at any time during the window; optional shared sessions will help multiplayer testing.
Playtest saves are separate from the main game. We will try to preserve them between updates, but beta save compatibility and transfer to the final release are not guaranteed. Back up anything you want to keep.
Useful feedback can be positive, negative or unfinished. Tell us where you got lost, what felt slow, what sounded wrong, or which moment made you want another match.
Use Report a bug / feedback in the game, or the support page if it will not launch. Each report receives a number. We review private reports, group related problems, reproduce them and test fixes before sending an update through Steam. Patch notes will identify fixed builds.
Reports are private to NTR Studio and its private issue tracker. Describe the problem without passwords, API keys or other private information. Screenshots and match snapshots are optional.
